🧙♀️ “Witch’s Fingers” Sweet Potato Fries
Total time: 25 minutes
Serves: 2–3
Theme: Healthy(ish) Halloween side
Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin fry shapes
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp sea salt
Whole almonds (for the “nails”)
Instructions:
Toss sweet potato strips in olive oil, paprika, and salt.
Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Once golden, stick a whole almond at the tip of each fry using a dab of honey or maple syrup to look like creepy witch fingernails.
Pro tip: Serve them on a dark slate plate with a side of spicy “blood” ketchup or sriracha mayo.
Don't forget your kitchen tools: Reusable air fryer liners or olive oil spray bottles for cleaner, eco-friendly frying.
🕯️ Final Trick (and Treat)
Each of these spooky snacks takes under 25 minutes, uses minimal oil, and looks like something straight out of a haunted kitchen (in the best way possible).
They’re perfect for Halloween movie nights, parties, or “I just want something fun and crispy” evenings — no judgment here.
